Default hard hitting axe warrior

currently my build stands as follows.
15 axe
14 strenth
4 tatics

i am a W/mo

i was woundering weather or not this 14 strength is necessary (remember it does increase armour pen) and if i should reduce it to increase other abilities such as smiting or healing. i think i should drop tatics all together and opt for healing prayers as the only tatic skill i use is crappy healing sig.

is strenth necessary. Fill me in!.

My belief is, if you can bring it to the natural max, why go past it? Sure you get that extra boost in damage and skill duration, however, I think it's best to make up for weaknesses. But that's just me.

I'd go 12/11/11

Tactics isn't necessary unless you truely need to tank or your shield needs it. Mine needs it but I learned some hot skills work with tactics. You can dump tactics and get 11 healing prayers if u wish

If you're only using tactics for the healing signet there is your first mistake. Lot easier to tank when 75% of the time you aren't being hit by physical attacks. Also tactics is a lot better with a sword IMO because of Riposte and Deadly Riposte. And if your secondary is monk I would rely more on your monk abilities for healing. Mainly because healing signet has a -40 AL when using it (although I'm still convinced it is double damage), and IMO it is meant to be used with the other tactics skills that give you that 75% chance to avoid attacks.

Healing Breeze is always nice, and if you're like most w/mo you will opt for Mending at 3 pips of health regen. Plus, since you use an axe, more of your skills are dependant on adreneline rather than energy so being reduced to 1 pip of energy regen (remember Mending takes away a pip) wouldn't be that big a deal. You could also use a Zealous upgrade as your sole source of energy regen combined with Cyclone Axe, Frenzy, and Protective Spirit to not only protect yourself but build up mana quickly. Combined with the occasional Bonetti's Defense when your energy runs low. Note that Bonetti's Defense is a tactics skill but even at level 1 it still lasts for 5 seconds and every melee block will give you 5 energy back.
